Resins are materials commonly used in the manufacture of lacquers, glues, plastics, and a wide range of other items. They are typically hard solids, which must be dissolved in a solvent base or wet milled (wet milling is desired to avoid the heat and dust issues inherent in dry milling) in an aqueous system. This process is often time consuming and operator exposure to solvent fumes must be limited.
